Local Hospice Lottery
Local Hospice Lottery is a wholly owned subsidiary of Farleigh Hospice (based in mid Essex). Our overall purpose is to be the leading lottery for hospices - providing additional funding and opportunities for growth by inspiring people to support their local hospice in a fair, open and affordable way. We are licensed by the Gambling Commission and currently work with over 40 adult and children’s hospices across Great Britain.
Our collaborative model has been built with a thorough understanding of the needs of hospice care. By sharing one prize fund and set of administration costs, vast amounts of expenditure can be saved and hospices can receive more income from every £1 play than they would from running their own, individual lottery.
Since 1997 Local Hospice Lottery has contributed in excess of £65 million to hospice care. In 2023 for each £1 entry in the weekly draw we gave an average of 67p to hospice care.
