National Association De Zonnebloem, supported by its own annual charity lottery, is the largest volunteer organisation in the Netherlands with nearly 30,000 volunteers. Altogether, the volunteers help people with a physical disability due to illness or disability, especially those who are socially isolated or who experience feelings of isolation.

People are visited at home and local activities are organised, including day trips and complete tailor-made holidays with our own cruise ship. Besides the organised activities, De Zonnebloem also helps to improve mobility and accessibility for people with physical disabilities.

The annual charity lottery is a very important source of income, as the proceeds are used for the organised activities. The tickets are sold by volunteers to family and friends, but also to unknown people in the city.
